Here’s my short review, thank you for reading it till the end if you did. So overall this anime gets an 7.6/10 to be exact but I’ll give it a 7 instead. But nevertheless, I think anyone who's watching it can't help but to enjoy it. And of course I enjoyed watching each episode, but perhaps some of them seemed to bore me. I just can't help myself from laughing watching each episode, to where each episode has its ridiculous humor. But nevertheless, all of the characters were just soo funny imo. As to how unexpected some of the characters are, however there isn't much of character development but perhaps a character back story, like depth of the character story, to know more about the character. Where each character shows their unique strange quirky characteristic. I love most of the characters in Uramichi. And please their muffled laughter HAHAHA, like how Iketeru always laugh if he heard the word “chin”, as in “ochin chin” HAHAH, his muffled laughter always gets me. Also please Iketeru seiyuu and Tadano's voice when they sing are sooo good. For the seiyus, gosh I love all of the seiyus, especially Kamiya Hiroshi as Uramichi as to how he can switch his mood from a happy oniisan to an mentally unstable 31 year old HAHA. To keep it short OP and ED fits well with the anime and also its nice~ As for the ridiculously perhaps somewhat inappropriate songs that were by Tadano and Iketeru was just ridiculously funny with its lyrics. Nevertheless, the consistency of the animation is 10/10 and the quality of it is 8/10, you can't seem to find anything wrong with the animation. Or perhaps it's just me who has crappy humor. As to how consistent and the character design and also the ridiculously funny design that just makes you want to laugh your ass off HAHAH. The art or the animation of this anime is what I find the most appealing as it is also well done. And I would say the story isn't that really appealing since I mean it's a slice of life genre, however I think it is a unique perspective of the anime by telling the story from a main character who is just tired of everything, except working out lmao. The story only covers around Together with Maman and some backstory of the characters from the anime. I think the story isn’t really appealing, however the comedy from a depressed Uramichi I’ll try to keep it short and with less to no spoilers, so let’s get to rating it This shows the true reality of adulthood from the perspective of Uramichi and other characters as well. Where it shows how depressing he really is despite having a very well maintained physic yet unwell mental. Uramichi oniisan is a relatable anime in many aspects for many audiences, especially working adults, where it talks about the daily life of a single 31 year old man who is working in a kids TV program. It's a fun show for anyone that's entered the work place and had to struggle to survive. A first since I was a tween about a million years back.Īrt & Animation = 9/10 beautiful art and smooth animation that isn't afraid to change to fit the mood.įun Factor = 9/10 I laughed harder at this than I did full on comedies. Voice acting = 10/10 I don't usually notice this but Miyano, Mamoru (voicing Iketeru) was amazing and his laugh was so infectious it had me cackling over d*ck jokes. Story = 9/10 Always funny and weird but relatable.Ĭharacters = 10/10 Uramichi is the most relatable to me but the other side characters are both likeable and fun. It's very much tied to the voice actor's performance. If anything it's funnier because he isn't a joke character but rather your grumpy, jaded uncle that everyone avoids during the holiday.ĭo yourself a favor and watch the original Japanese with subs otherwise you'll miss out on Iketeru's joke. It is also not afraid to turn Uramichi into the universe's punching bag for the sake of a joke. If anything most of the humor comes from a grown man just blurting this out to pre-schoolers or getting their VERY honest response. The show doesn't pull any punches in regards to "adulting" and is very clear about their being forces outside of your control that you have to bow before or they'll break you. And is as cynical and jaded as humanely possible why still trying to keep that smile pasted on. Although Uramichi puts on a happy face to lead exercises, his true feelings often slip through the cracks when he teaches the kids important life lessons.Uramichi is a 31 gymnast currently working as a presenter for a kids show. 31-year-old Uramichi Omota faces this depressing reality working on the children's show Together with Maman, and his similarly miserable colleagues don't make it any easier. Freedom, spirit, hopes and dreams… There's a lot that children have that adults don't.
